Do you find it challenging to find a substitute to teach your fitness class, lesson or game? Sometimes last-minute emergencies come up, or you are taking a vacation, and you need to find help, quickly. Arlington start-up FitYap aims to help.
FitYap aims to make it simple to register free and list your classes, lessons, matches or fitness opportunities.
When you need a substitute, click on the class in your dashboard class list and click on the button that reads "FitYap, Help find me a sub!"
Then select if you would like the entire fitness community on FitYap that is certified in the specific primary fitness activity of the class within 60 miles of the class location to get notified, or select a specific facility or association and everyone on the team there with the specific primary activity of the class will get notified. Then, applicants apply, you get notified with each applicant and you select one applicant to take the class.
Fortunately, you can see the applicant’s history of verified reviews, certifications and experience all in one place on their FitYap profile. So we help make the decision for you to find qualified candidates even easier.
FitYap can also pay the substitute should you wish for the substitute to be paid online. Money allotted for the class can be held in escrow. Then we release the funds to the substitute teacher 24 hours after the class completes.
Besides subbing tools, FitYap aims to help local Boston vicinity area small businesses, fitness freelancers and more run and manage their businesses.
You can:
* Schedule group classes, PT sessions, fitness meetups or events;
* Your clients can book and cancel classes online;
* Full integration with our credit system: Credits are automatically deducted after booking;
* Automate your booking, and save time.
Besides the scheduling module, FitYap offers roster management and fit social network that rewards your clients based on taking more fitness classes through FitYap. Find out more here >>
