As always, there is no admission fee, and the venue is handicapped-accessible

Gyros, Souvlaki, Loukoumades . . . oh my!

Baked lamb, pastichio, moussaka

Many of your favorite Greek foods are set to return as well. Prepared with love and expertise by the parishioners of the church, they offer world-class cuisine using their tried-and-true set of recipes for the quality and flavor you have come to expect for over 30 years.

From baked lamb, pastichio and moussaka to baklava, galaktoboureko and Greek coffee. A selection of Greek wines and beers will also be offered to pair with your meal.

Rain or shine, the event was held under tents.

Music, too

In addition to their famous cooking skills, Greek musical talents will also be provided by parishioner expertise all under the big tent. Kefi Sounds, Apollo Sounds, Salonika Sounds and DJs from web radio station Kefi FM will complete your Greek weekend, with live bouzouki music Saturday, June 11, starting at 1 p.m.

In the evening, you can also enjoy the experience of Greek regional dancing courtesy of The Sons and Daughters of Alexander the Great.

Since 1964, St. Athanasius church has been a fixture in the Arlington area, actively serving the needs of Arlington through fund-raisers, charity drives and weekly Sunday divine liturgies, which are open to all. For details, see the church website >>

For more festival information, please get in touch with the church office (781-646-0705) or visit the festival website >>
