Oriana Consort: Nature's Voice

Cambridge-based performing ensemble Oriana Consort presented a concert at 8 p.m. Friday, March 22, at Park Avenue Congregational Church.

Oriana offered "Nature's Voice," a program of choral works celebrating the natural world with music of Stanford, Mendelssohn, Hensel, Hailstork, Alwood, Esenvalds, Mvula, Marrolli, Purcell and Handel; the latter two were performed with period instruments.

Directing were Walter Chapin and Andrea Hart.

Tickets at the door were $25; students and seniors pay $20. Order online at OrianaConsort.org for a $5 discount.

The church is at 50 Paul Revere Road (enter at the corner of Wollaston and Park).
