Openings in string bass, percussion sections

UPDATED June 8: The Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra had a show from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Robbins Farm Park, The general public was invited to attend at no charge; bringing picnic dinners was highly encouraged.  Pieces played were "Huapango" by Moncayo, a medley from the musical "Chicago," "Slavonic March" by Tchaikovsky and "Bugler's Holiday" by Leroy Anderson. The park is at  61 Eastern Ave., Arlington.

A news release notes that openings for the 2024-2025 APO concert season currently exist in the string bass and percussion sections, with opportunities to substitute in other sections of the orchestra. For general information, visit the PSA website
