The second public CSO planning meeting is expected to be Dec. 15 (to be confirmed) and group members are excited to strategize about it with you.
The following was submitted by Amy Speare of Zero Waste Arlington, an advocacy and education-focused group, working at both the local and state levels to effect change and reduce waste.
Arlington on Tap was initiated by Zero Waste Arlington (ZWA) to support the town’s new retail ban on single-use plastic bottled water, promote Arlington’s high-quality tap water and build a network of refill stations.
Since its launch last May, Arlington on Tap has been responsive to community feedback and the campaign has accomplished the following milestones:
